Freewheelers: Société Anonyme Magazine, Issue 5

In our multifaceted reality, the most expensive is the one linked to the world of Skate, it has always been since Societè Anonyme exists. The crew, the warm tones, the sense of belonging and community, the need to want to be free means that the skateboard is not just sliding the wheels on the concrete. Skateboarding creates a unique atmosphere, a filisophy from which, once you are in it, it is difficult to get out. That is why in our store, the filisofia of the skate is so vivid.

FREEWHEELERS: FASHION AND SKATE LIKE

In this issue we will cross the world of skate through the brands that populate Societè Anonyme Store and the worlds of some of our skater friends who will talk about their passion.

Why skaters love Dickies

Founded in 1922, Dickies always specialized on workwear. In 1967 with the birth of famous 874 “Workpant”, the clothing brand approaches the skating world.
It was in the '90s when skaters started influencing the brand working side by side on the technical and design decisions inspiring then on how create better clothes for their art.
Now Dickies sponsors skate teams and events all over the world.
We can call it a community.

Paccbet: a new day, a new world, a new life

Paccbet is a profound and innovative brand. It’s young, poetic and raw at the same time, accurate in outling the essence of Russian kids mood in post-Soviet world.
And we as a company are totally bewitched by it.
The brand – produced by Comme des Garcons – is designed by Gosha Rubchinkskiy and his friend Tolya Titaev.

Stüssy: globe trotting

In the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, a brand was born from the Southern California surf scene and swept through the clothing landscape to redefine the look and ideology of casualwear. A community with same needs was rising, the “International Stüssy Tribe”.
A group of like-minded individuals and friends from all over the world, shared a few things in common, good taste, comfort and quality. This is how and organic spread started happening.
Stüssy adapts and shows that the brand is well aware of this cycle and intends to keep meeting its needs. The design and overall aesthetic touched on references from a range of underground subcultures that resonated with Stüssy.

Vault by Vans: a skateboarding product

Vault by Vans was founded in 2003, born to connect Vans with the world of high fashion, design and art. By doing so creates cool collaborations in which the brands involved, while maintaining their nature, mix harmoniously with the skate identity of Vans. The aesthetics of skaters in recent years is increasingly refined and that is why Vault by Vans is the right contemporary product.
Vault by Vans has collaborated with important brands such as WTAPS, Undercover, Nigel Cabourn (and others, but also with artists and designers worthy of note as KRINK (graffiti), Ray Barbee (photographer), Taka Hayashi (artist) and Murakami (artist)
