Camper x Issey Miyake are back together with the newest Karst Sneaker
Camper and Issey Miyake unveil the second chapter of their collaboration: Karst Finch, a unisex sneaker merging technical research with an organic visual language.
between nature, technical research and organic construction
The collaboration between Camper and Issey Miyake enters its second chapter with Karst Finch, a women’s sneaker that merges technical approach with a refined design sensibility. Designed by Satoshi Kondo together with the Camper team, the silhouette takes shape from a natural reference: the vivid plumage of finches, translated into a light, dynamic, almost instinctive construction. The elastic upper wraps the foot with continuity, while the Karst outsole—already a distinctive element of Camper’s language—introduces an organic, irregular mark inspired by the rocky formations it is named after. The result is an object that doesn’t impose form, but follows it.
Karst Finch is built around a structure designed for everyday movement, where each component contributes to a balance between performance and lightness. Engineered recycled PET materials define a responsible foundation, while the recycled OrthoLite® footbed and ReXarge® midsole work on comfort and responsiveness. The Vibram rubber outsole completes the system, ensuring stability and durability. Closing the project is a detail that shifts the object into a more open dimension: two pairs of socks included, conceived to intervene in the styling and redefine the identity of the shoe each time.
