Rewriting the Icon: MM6 x Dr. Martens FW25 capsule collection
For FW25, MM6 Maison Margiela and Dr. Martens return with a capsule collection that bends the rules of classic design. In a stark white palette, two hybrid models – the 1460/1461 boot and the 1461/Penton loafer – reinterpret familiar silhouettes using Smooth and Virginia leathers. A striking blend of industrial heritage and conceptual construction.

Two icons, reimagined
1461/Penton Loafer – A layered illusion
This hybrid design fuses the laced structure of the 1461 with the ease of the Penton slip-on. With tonal stitching and minimalist detailing, it plays on the illusion of a shoe within a shoe. The iconic DM’s bouncing sole remains, reframed by MM6’s avant-garde language.
1461/ 1460 Boot - structure rebalanced
The boot merges two Dr.Marten’s icons into a white-on-white construction with a bump toe, custom white AirWair loop, and MM6 numeric embossing on the ankle. A balance between workwear utility and abstract reinterpretation, this boot distills the essence of both brands into one sculptural form.
The MM6 x Dr. Martens FW25 capsule launches July 17 online and in-store.
