CITY NOTES #01 - A CERTAIN JAPANESE ATTITUDE

Introducing City Notes, a new editorial series by Société Anonyme dedicated to the encounter between clothing, movement and urban space. A collection of visual notes observing how garments live beyond the store, moving through the city and becoming part of everyday life. Volume #01: a certain Japanese attitude

VOL. #01

For the first edition of City Notes, we built a look around one of the influences that has always been part of the Société Anonyme universe: a certain Japanese attitude towards shape, volume and the relationship between body and space.

Relaxed silhouettes, effortless layering and generous proportions define a different way of inhabiting a garment, through cultural references that continue to influence the way we observe and select clothing.

Photographed on the streets of Florence, the look combines the experimental language of Comme des Garçons SHIRT (side-zip T-shirt) with the contemporary approach of Société Anonyme Créations (Andrew Short pleated bermuda shorts) and CamperLab (Mil Shoes).
The result is a contemporary urban look built around a personal, easy-to-wear aesthetic.

City Notes was born from this very idea: observing how garments express their own vibe as they move beyond the retail environment and begin a relationship with the world around them. Architecture, spaces, interactions.
